Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Engraver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision and an eye for detail, capable of operating various engraving equipment to produce high-quality custom metal work. This role involves working with a diverse range of metals and finishes, bringing client designs to life with accuracy and artistic flair. You will be an integral part of our production process, ensuring every piece meets our rigorous standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a variety of engraving machines, including laser, rotary, and pantograph systems.
- Interpret and translate client designs, specifications, and blueprints into engraved products.
- Prepare materials for engraving, ensuring proper alignment, clamping, and surface treatment.
- Select appropriate tools, settings, and techniques based on material type and design complexity.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure accuracy, depth, and aesthetics.
- Clean and finish engraved items, removing burrs or residues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues, performing routine maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure project timelines are met.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating engraving machinery (laser, rotary, pantograph).
- Strong understanding of various metal properties and finishes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a steady hand.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic computer skills for operating engraving software.
- Problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal training or apprenticeship in engraving, jewelry making, or a related field.
