Job Description
Join Pacific Rim Security Solutions as Film Set Location Security, working overnight shifts in the dynamic and thrilling world of film production in Port Alberni. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of film set locations during overnight hours to prevent unauthorized access and theft.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, responding to any alerts or suspicious activities.
- Control access points, verifying credentials for authorized personnel entering or exiting the set.
- Maintain accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and security checks performed.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security breaches, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with production staff and local authorities as needed to resolve security issues.
- Ensure confidentiality of production details and protect sensitive information.
- Report any damage, vandalism, or safety hazards observed on site.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid BC Security Worker License (or willingness to obtain one with company assistance).
- Previous experience in security, even if not film-related.
- First Aid and/or CPR certification.
- Clean criminal record check.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
