Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start in a dynamic factory environment? Tasmanian Premium Produce Co. is seeking enthusiastic and reliable General Factory Hands to join our production team in Launceston. This is an excellent opportunity for both backpackers seeking to complete regional work requirements and locals looking for stable employment. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training! You’ll be involved in various stages of our production process, contributing to the efficient operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on the production line.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products.
- Operate basic machinery and equipment after training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and quality standards.
- Support team members in achieving daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20kg
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Eligibility to work in Australia
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift license (though not essential, training may be provided for the right candidate)
- Previous experience in a factory or production environment (beneficial but not required)
