Job Description

As an Assistant Development Manager at Stockland in Port Macquarie, you will play a crucial role in supporting the property development lifecycle from inception to completion. This entry to mid-level position is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to build a career in property development, offering hands-on experience across various project stages and exposure to strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior Development Managers, contributing to market research, feasibility studies, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement for residential and mixed-use developments within the Port Macquarie region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting comprehensive market research and feasibility studies for potential development sites.
  • Support the preparation of project briefs, development applications, and master plans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, sales, marketing, finance) and external consultants (architects, planners, engineers).
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities, including local council and community liaison.
  • Assist with contract administration and procurement processes.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as required.

Required Skills
