Job Description
Ray White Rural Gosford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Stock and Station Agent to join our dynamic team, focusing on regional work across the Central Coast and surrounding rural areas of New South Wales. This role offers an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the agricultural sector, working directly with farmers, producers, and buyers in a fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in facilitating livestock sales, property transactions, and providing expert advice to our valued clients. This is a hands-on role requiring regular travel within the region, building strong relationships and contributing to the success of our clients and the agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate the buying and selling of livestock (cattle, sheep, etc.) through various channels.
- Conduct property appraisals and manage the sales process for rural properties, including farms, acreage, and lifestyle blocks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Provide expert advice on market trends, valuations, and agricultural best practices.
- Prepare and execute marketing campaigns for livestock and property listings.
- Attend auctions, field days, and community events to represent the agency and network.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Handle client enquiries and administrative duties related to sales and transactions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in rural real estate, livestock agency, or a related agricultural field.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of rural property markets and livestock industry dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a regional setting.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Proficiency in basic office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Stock and Station Agent license (or ability to obtain one rapidly).
- Tertiary qualification in agriculture, rural business, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM software specific to real estate or agriculture.
- Established network within the Central Coast agricultural community.
