Job Description
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals for casual day work as Vegetable Packers at our Portland factory. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for flexible work schedules and the chance to contribute to a vital part of the food industry. As a Vegetable Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fresh produce is carefully inspected, cleaned, and packaged according to quality standards before distribution. Training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals seeking entry-level factory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully inspect vegetables for quality, freshness, and defects.
- Clean, trim, and prepare various types of vegetables for packaging.
- Accurately weigh and package vegetables into appropriate containers or bags.
- Label packaged products correctly with dates and other necessary information.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
