Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Linen Staff to join our Housekeeping team at Novotel Newcastle Beach. This role is crucial in ensuring our guests experience the highest levels of comfort through impeccably maintained linen supplies. You will be responsible for the efficient sorting, handling, and distribution of linen, supporting our day-to-day hotel operations. This is a physically active role, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization. Day shifts are primarily available, offering a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and count soiled linen collected from guest rooms and other hotel areas.
- Load and unload laundry machines following safety protocols and best practices.
- Fold, iron, and organize clean linen, towels, and uniforms to hotel standards.
- Distribute fresh linen to various departments, including housekeeping trolleys and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the linen room and laundry facilities.
- Monitor linen stock levels and report any shortages or damaged items.
- Adhere to all hotel policies regarding health, safety, and hygiene.
- Assist the housekeeping team with other related duties as required.
