Job Description
Join the team at Collector’s Corner NYC, a cherished cornerstone of the Astoria community for over two decades! We’re seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Comic Book & Hobby Store Cashier to join our relaxed and supportive team. If you have a love for all things pop culture, comics, or hobbies, and enjoy connecting with people, this entry-level role is perfect for you. We provide full training, so no prior experience is necessary – just a great attitude and a willingness to learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering basic questions about our inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
- Help to unpack and organize new merchandise arrivals.
- Engage with customers about their interests and foster a positive shopping experience.
Required Skills
