Job Description

Join our dynamic team at Toll Group as a Container Unloader! This full-time, on-site role in Brisbane offers competitive ‘Top Aussie Pay’ for physically fit individuals ready to contribute to our essential logistics operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient manual unloading of various goods from shipping containers, ensuring items are sorted and prepared for further processing within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manually unload a variety of cargo from shipping containers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Sort, count, and palletize goods accurately according to manifest details and warehouse procedures.
  • Operate manual lifting and moving equipment such as pallet jacks as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area at all times.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations, policies, and manual handling guidelines.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
  • Assist with other general warehouse duties and ad-hoc tasks as directed.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items repeatedly (up to 25kg).
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read manifests and labels.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety.
  • Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6 months preferred) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physically demanding role.
  • Current forklift license (LF or LO class) will be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Knowledge of proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices.
