Job Description

Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of regional Australian hospitality? Australian Venue Co. is looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Hospitality All-Rounders to join our teams in regional pubs across Goulburn, NSW. This unique role offers a diverse range of duties, giving you hands-on experience in all facets of pub operations, from bar service to food handling and accommodation support. Best of all, comfortable accommodation is provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals looking for a change of scenery, career development, or a taste of regional living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and with a friendly demeanor.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with RSA regulations.
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash with integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all venue areas, including bar, dining, and public spaces.
  • Assist with basic kitchen duties, including food preparation and dishwashing, as required.
  • Support accommodation services, including guest check-ins/outs and room preparation.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally.
  • Set up and pack down event spaces or dining areas.
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons.

  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willingness to obtain one upon employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, even casual or voluntary roles.
  • Basic food safety knowledge.
  • Ability to handle minor administrative tasks.
  • First Aid Certificate.
