Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-time Storeman to join our logistics team in Launceston. This role involves managing inventory, picking and packing orders, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse operations during day shifts. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the efficient distribution of products to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to specifications.
- Conduct inventory checks and maintain stock accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, potentially forklifts if licensed).
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (minimum 6 months).
