Job Description

We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Election Office Clerk for a seasonal contract. This is an immediate hire position to support upcoming electoral activities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of election procedures, providing essential administrative support and assistance to both staff and the public. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals new to the workforce or looking to gain valuable experience in public service and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and organization of election materials and supplies.
  • Provide information and assistance to voters regarding registration, polling locations, and voting procedures.
  • Process and verify voter registration applications and other election-related documentation with accuracy.
  • Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain voter records.
  • Answer phone inquiries and respond to emails from the public and election officials.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all election-related information.
  • Assist with general office duties, including filing, photocopying, and organizing documents.
  • Collaborate effectively with other election staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Adhere to all election laws, policies, and procedures.
