Job Description
Are you looking for a casual role with great pay that offers night shifts and provides full training? Fulton Hogan is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Road Marker Helpers to join our Launceston team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals keen to get started in the civil construction industry, no prior experience is required! As a Road Marker Helper, you will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with the application of various road markings, ensuring safety and compliance on our project sites. This role involves night work, which is essential for minimizing disruption to traffic flow and maximizing efficiency. We provide all necessary training and personal protective equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled road markers in preparing surfaces for line marking.
- Help set up and dismantle traffic management devices to ensure a safe work zone.
- Operate small equipment and tools under supervision.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from vehicles.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and site instructions diligently.
- Work effectively as part of a team during night shifts.
Required Skills
- Ability to work night shifts and occasional weekends.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry materials.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Current Australian Driver's License (manual preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Basic First Aid certification.
