Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Function Staff for casual work, with a focus on high weekend pay opportunities. In this dynamic role, you will be an integral part of delivering memorable events, from conferences and weddings to special celebrations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and pack down of function rooms and event spaces, including tables, chairs, and decorations.
- Provide professional and friendly food and beverage service to guests during events.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in all event areas.
- Work collaboratively with the events team to ensure the smooth execution of all functions.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Handle and transport equipment and supplies as required.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 10kg).

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus, but not essential.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- An understanding of basic food and beverage service principles.
