Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Bulk Order Pickers to join our fast-paced e-commerce warehouse team in Gungahlin, ACT. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their career in logistics. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. As a Bulk Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in our operations by accurately and efficiently picking and preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring our customers receive their items on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pick customer orders from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other equipment to track and locate products.
- Ensure all picked items match order specifications for quantity and product type.
- Package orders securely and label them for shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to company guidelines (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 23 kg), and carry for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of numbers and attention to detail for accurate order picking.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or similar physical role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as pallet jacks or forklifts (certification not required, training will be provided).
