Job Description
Are you passionate about providing outstanding guest service and have an impeccable driving record? The Alfond Inn at Rollins is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Valet Parking Attendant to join our luxury team. This is an entry-level position where we welcome individuals with no prior valet experience – full training will be provided to ensure you master the skills needed to expertly handle our guests’ luxury vehicles. You will be the first and last impression for many of our guests, playing a crucial role in delivering a seamless and high-end hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage and directions.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles, including luxury and high-performance models.
- Maintain a clean and organized valet area and lobby entrance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating guest vehicles.
- Assist guests with special requests and provide information about the hotel and local area.
- Inspect vehicles for existing damage prior to parking and report any new damage immediately.
- Accurately record vehicle information and key management.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles safely (training will cover luxury models).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods and in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No prior valet experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
- Familiarity with the Winter Park/Orlando area.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new procedures and vehicle types.
