Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and physically capable individuals to join our team as Abattoir / Slaughterhouse Cleaners in Carson City, NV. This is a critical role requiring meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to hygiene and safety standards. You will be responsible for performing extreme washdown and sanitation tasks within a meat processing facility, ensuring all areas meet stringent regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Perform extreme washdown and sanitation of all production areas, machinery, and equipment within the abattoir/slaughterhouse.
- Utilize high-pressure hoses, cleaning chemicals, and specialized equipment to remove organic matter, fats, and other residues.
- Adhere strictly to all company, HACCP, USDA, and OSHA safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for thorough cleaning and inspection.
- Inspect cleaned areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Handle and dispose of waste materials according to established procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or non-compliance issues to supervision immediately.
