Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Agile Delivery Manager to join our dynamic technology team in Glasgow. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and coaching multiple Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives. You will foster an environment of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration, ensuring teams operate at peak efficiency and adhere to Agile principles and practices. This role requires a strong leader who can navigate complex challenges, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive successful project outcomes within a fast-paced financial technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and enable multiple Agile teams to deliver business value effectively.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication, ensuring transparency on project status and risks.
- Drive continuous improvement within teams and across the broader delivery organization.
- Monitor and report on team metrics, performance, and progress towards goals.
- Ensure the adoption of best practices for software development, quality assurance, and release management.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and psychological safety.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
- Excellent servant leadership and coaching skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, complex enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (e.g., SAFe, PSM).
- Experience in the financial services or FinTech industry.
- Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
