Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team in Harrogate. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting our cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and services efficiently. You will champion agile principles and practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of various agile methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coach and mentor agile teams on best practices, continuous improvement, and self-organization.
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Manage project risks and dependencies, escalating issues as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing transparency on team progress, challenges, and successes.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Track and report on key agile metrics to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure product delivery aligns with business goals and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe certification.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformations.
- Background in telecommunications or related technology industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
