Job Description
Are you passionate about the magic of baking and eager to start a career in a bustling kitchen environment? The Daily Crumb Bakery is seeking a dedicated Bakers Assistant to join our team in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals with no prior professional baking experience, as full training will be provided. You will work closely with our experienced bakers, learning the fundamentals of dough preparation, pastry making, and oven operation. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting head bakers with daily production tasks.
- Measuring and preparing ingredients accurately according to recipes.
- Mixing doughs, batters, and fillings.
- Shaping and proofing bread, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Operating ovens and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and kitchen area.
- Washing dishes and cleaning utensils.
- Packaging and labeling finished products.
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.
