Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart your career in hospitality in a fun, fast-paced environment? The Fort Grill & Tavern is seeking enthusiastic Bar and Waiting Staff with no prior experience required! We are committed to providing full training to the right candidates who possess a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a passion for customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Present menus, answer questions about food and beverage items, and make recommendations.
- Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into our POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Prepare simple drinks and assist the bartending team as needed.
- Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset for new guests.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
Required Skills
- No prior experience in bars or waiting required – full training provided!
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying trays of food and beverages.
Preferred Qualifications
