Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and reliable individual to join our team as a Barbershop Sweeper / Front Desk assistant. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for cleanliness, and loves interacting with people. You will be instrumental in maintaining the pristine appearance of our shop while also being the first point of contact for our valued clients, managing appointments, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This is an entry-level position where we are happy to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities
- Promptly sweep and clean hair from floor after each client's haircut.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and tidiness of the barbershop, including workstations, waiting areas, and restrooms.
- Sanitize chairs, tools, and equipment regularly as instructed.
- Warmly greet clients upon arrival and assist them with check-in.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the booking system.
- Process payments (cash and credit card transactions) accurately.
- Manage client waiting lists and communicate estimated wait times.
- Assist barbers with minor tasks such as gathering fresh towels or supplies.
- Restock retail products and general supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
