Job Description
Are you an energetic individual who enjoys working outdoors and isn’t afraid of a bit of physical labor? Ooh! Media is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our Billboard Posting Crew in Dandenong. This is a part-time day work position, perfect for those looking for consistent outdoor work. As a vital part of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of advertising posters on our billboard assets. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals keen to start a career in the outdoor media industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and safely install new advertising posters on various billboard structures.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of billboard sites to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete posting schedules efficiently.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport materials and team members to sites.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures, including working at heights guidelines.
- Report any issues or damage to billboard structures or surroundings promptly.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated strong physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid Australian Driver's License (manual transmission highly preferred).
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in outdoor manual labor or construction is a plus but not essential.
- Working at Heights certification.
- Basic First Aid certification.
- Forklift license (LF) is a bonus.
