Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and passionate Blockchain Developer / Web3 Engineer to join our cutting-edge team in Lyon, France. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation decentralized applications and blockchain-powered features for our gaming experiences. You will be instrumental in exploring, designing, and implementing Web3 solutions, focusing on smart contract development, DApp integration, and blockchain infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (primarily EVM-compatible chains).
- Integrate blockchain functionalities and Web3 components into existing game systems and new applications.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and maintenance.
- Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies, protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, backend engineers, and product managers to define technical specifications and deliver innovative solutions.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of blockchain-related systems through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Contribute to the architectural decisions and technical roadmap for Web3 initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development.
- Experience with Web3 libraries (e.g., Web3.js, Ethers.js).
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
- Familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem, including tools like Hardhat, Truffle, Ganache.
- Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, and decentralized concepts.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other blockchain platforms (e.g., Polygon, Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain).
- Knowledge of IPFS, Filecoin, or other decentralized storage solutions.
- Experience with GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with security best practices for smart contracts (e.g., auditing tools, patterns).
- Prior experience in the gaming industry or with large-scale consumer applications.
- Basic knowledge of French is a plus.
