Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Tax Refund Processing Clerks. We have both seasonal and permanent opportunities available. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately processing tax refund applications for our diverse client base. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review tax refund applications for completeness and accuracy.
- Enter client data and financial information into internal systems with precision.
- Verify supporting documentation against application forms.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email to clarify information or request missing documents.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and company policies.
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to support the tax processing team.
- Ensure timely processing of all applications to meet deadlines.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with data entry and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial terminology or basic accounting principles.
- Ability to speak and understand English is an advantage for interacting with diverse clients or internal teams.
