Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and meticulous Car Valeter / Wash Attendant to join our dynamic team immediately. This full-time position is critical to ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for our valued customers. You will play a key role in preparing new and pre-owned vehicles, as well as maintaining the pristine condition of our showroom and service cars. Full training will be provided for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and detailing.
- Apply appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to remove dirt, stains, and blemishes.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and identify any areas requiring further attention.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the car wash bay and detailing area.
- Report any vehicle damage or defects discovered during the detailing process.
- Ensure all cleaning products and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
- Assist with moving vehicles around the lot as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing vehicle models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car washing, valeting, or detailing is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and techniques.
- A passion for cars and a desire to see them maintained to perfection.
