Job Description
Join our dedicated team at The Purrfect Cuppa Cat Café as a Host and Barista! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a truly unique environment, combining excellent customer service with compassionate animal care. You’ll be the friendly face greeting our guests, crafting delightful coffee beverages, and ensuring a clean, safe, and happy space for both our customers and our cherished cats. If you have a passion for hospitality and a deep love for cats, this role is purr-fect for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, manage bookings, and guide them through our café etiquette for interacting with cats.
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty drinks.
- Handle food orders and serve snacks, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and tidy café environment, including cat play areas, restrooms, and customer seating.
- Monitor cat welfare, ensuring their safety, comfort, and providing basic care like fresh water and litter box maintenance.
- Process transactions accurately using our POS system and handle cash and card payments.
- Educate guests on responsible cat interaction and promote our adoption program for suitable cats.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and restocking.

- Basic barista training or experience.

- First Aid certification (human or animal).
