Job Description
The St Vincent de Paul Society NSW is seeking a diligent and organised Charity Commission Admin to join our team in Newcastle. This entry-level role is crucial for supporting our compliance with non-profit regulatory frameworks, particularly those set by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping, assisting with report preparation, and maintaining effective communication channels with internal departments and external bodies. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the non-profit sector with a focus on regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to the ACNC and other relevant bodies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of charity activities, governance documents, and compliance procedures.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings related to regulatory compliance, taking minutes as required.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding compliance matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the compilation of data and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Assist in the development and implementation of administrative processes to enhance regulatory adherence.
- Undertake general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and correspondence management.
