Job Description
Are you passionate about photography and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional studio setting? Caledonian Creative Studios is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commercial Photography Assistant Intern to join our team in Cumbernauld. This internship provides an invaluable opportunity to learn the intricacies of commercial photography, from studio setup and lighting techniques to post-production workflows. You will work closely with our lead photographers and creative team, assisting with various aspects of photo shoots and contributing to the smooth operation of our studio. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals with a strong interest in photography who are keen to develop practical skills and build a portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead photographers with setting up and dismantling lighting equipment, cameras, and other studio gear.
- Help organize and manage props, backdrops, and sets for various photo shoots.
- Support the post-production team with tasks such as file management, image culling, and basic photo editing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment at all times.
- Actively participate in learning sessions and seek opportunities to develop new photography skills and techniques.
- Provide general administrative support to the studio team as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is properly handled, stored, and accounted for.
Required Skills
- A genuine enthusiasm and passion for photography and visual arts.
- Basic understanding of digital camera functions (preferred, but full training will be provided).
- Exceptional willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
