Job Description

Are you enthusiastic about live music and looking for a dynamic temporary role? Live Nation Entertainment is seeking energetic and reliable Concert Merchandise Counter Helpers to join our team for upcoming events in Chelmsford. This fast-paced role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in an exciting environment, are quick on their feet, and have a keen eye for detail when handling stock and sales. You will be a crucial part of ensuring fans have access to their favourite artist’s merchandise, contributing directly to their concert experience. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to the events industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately count and reconcile merchandise stock before, during, and after events.
  • Assist customers with merchandise selection and sales transactions using a POS system.
  • Handle cash and card payments accurately.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized merchandise counter throughout the event.
  • Provide excellent customer service to concert-goers.
  • Assist with setting up and packing down merchandise displays.
  • Answer customer questions about merchandise availability and pricing.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills

  • Strong numerical and counting skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., boxes of merchandise).
