Are you passionate about beauty and eager to start a career in the cosmetics industry? Nordstrom is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Cosmetics Counter Makeup Artist Trainee in our Capitol Hill, Seattle store. This is a unique opportunity for aspiring makeup artists with little to no prior professional experience. We will provide comprehensive brand training, product knowledge, and advanced application techniques to help you develop into a skilled beauty advisor. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided brand-specific makeup artistry and product knowledge training sessions.
- Learn to provide personalized makeup consultations and demonstrations to customers.
- Develop skills in product application, color matching, and skincare recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting counter environment.
- Assist customers with product selection, purchases, and returns.
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay informed about new product launches, promotions, and beauty trends.
- Contribute to achieving daily and weekly sales goals under guidance.
