Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Delivery Van Loading Assistant to join our logistics team in Fort Lauderdale. In this vital entry-level role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our delivery vans are efficiently and accurately loaded, helping our drivers prepare for their routes. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to teamwork. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the timely and successful delivery of goods to our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and organize packages, products, or goods for specific delivery routes.
- Load delivery vans according to established procedures, ensuring items are secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify items against loading manifests or digital systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist drivers with pre-route inspections and preparations, including checking for any special delivery instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized loading dock area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues to immediate supervisor.
