Job Description
We are urgently seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Demolition Hand in Esperance, Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the construction and demolition industry with no prior experience required. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, focusing on safety protocols, tool operation, and demolition techniques. Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced demolition operatives with various tasks on site.
- Learn and apply safe demolition practices and site procedures.
- Operate hand tools and basic power tools under supervision (e.g., sledgehammers, pry bars).
- Help with site preparation, clearing debris, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Sort and load materials for recycling or disposal.
- Adhere strictly to all company and site-specific safety regulations.
- Participate in daily safety briefings and contribute to a safe working culture.
- Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
- Perform general labouring duties as required.
Required Skills
- No prior experience in demolition or construction required.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
- Current C-Class Australian Driver's License.
