Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting entry-level opportunity to start a rewarding career in the green energy sector? British Gas is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Energy Efficiency Home Auditors in Weston-super-Mare. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training, a company vehicle, and all the tools you need to succeed. You will be responsible for visiting residential properties to conduct energy efficiency assessments, provide advice to customers, and identify opportunities for energy savings. This role involves local travel within the Weston-super-Mare area, helping our customers reduce their carbon footprint and lower their energy bills.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a structured training program to become a certified Energy Efficiency Home Auditor.
- Travel daily to residential properties within the Weston-super-Mare area using a company-provided vehicle.
- Conduct thorough energy efficiency assessments of homes, including insulation levels, heating systems, and ventilation.
- Collect accurate data using specialized equipment and digital tools.
- Provide clear, concise, and friendly advice to homeowners on potential energy-saving measures.
- Document audit findings and recommendations accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism during all interactions.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and company guidelines.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with a clean record.
