Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Escrow / Closing Assistant to join our bustling Real Estate team in Leeds. This is a critical administrative role that supports our property transaction process, ensuring smooth and efficient closings. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional communication skills, and have a proactive approach to their work. You will be instrumental in preparing closing documents, coordinating with various parties, and managing timelines to meet critical deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and organise closing documents, contracts, and other transaction-related paperwork.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and legal counsel to gather necessary information and facilitate communication.
- Manage closing schedules and ensure all deadlines are met with precision.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date transaction files and records.
- Assist in the preparation of settlement statements and disbursement of funds.
- Handle client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the closing process.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the closing team as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a real estate administrative or legal support role.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real estate specific CRM or transaction management software.
- Knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes in the UK.
- Previous experience in an escrow, title, or closing department.
