Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of the action at local events? Allied Universal is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Event Stewards / Ushers for weekend work in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training to ensure you are confident and capable in your role. This is a fantastic chance to gain valuable experience, meet new people, and contribute to a positive atmosphere at various venues. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and direct them to their seats or various event areas.
- Scan tickets and manage entry/exit points efficiently.
- Provide clear and concise information regarding event schedules, facilities, and services.
- Monitor assigned areas for safety hazards and address them promptly or report to supervisors.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
- Assist guests with special needs, offering support and guidance as required.
- Help manage crowd flow and ensure orderly movement throughout the venue.
- Remain alert and proactive in responding to any incidents or emergencies, following established protocols.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, representing the event and company positively.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and friendly attitude with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as required by event duties.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled weekend shifts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various event settings and procedures.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or guest relations role (not required, but a plus).
- Basic knowledge of first aid or CPR certification (not required, but beneficial).
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
