Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend React Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Shoreditch. This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer with solid React experience looking to make a significant impact on user-facing applications at scale. You will contribute to the development of our customer-facing web platforms, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for millions of users. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React.js and associated technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge, and mentoring junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring robust and reliable application performance.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API, Hooks).
- Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests for frontend components.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks like Next.js.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing past frontend projects.
