Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Gated Community Security Guard for a residential community in Croydon. This is a primarily sit-down role focused on monitoring access, providing a welcoming presence, and ensuring the safety and comfort of residents. You will be an integral part of maintaining a secure and friendly environment within the community. While some active patrolling may be required, the role emphasizes observational duties and excellent customer service. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking a stable and supportive role in security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor access points, ensuring only authorized individuals and vehicles enter the community.
  • Greet residents and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Utilize CCTV and other security equipment to observe and report unusual activities.
  • Conduct regular, light foot patrols of the immediate gatehouse area and designated community zones.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all visitors, incidents, and security-related activities.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols.
  • Provide assistance and information to residents as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with community rules and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with property management and local emergency services.
