Job Description
Royal Mail is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Government Mail Carrier / Postman in Sutton, London. This is an active outdoor role vital to connecting communities and ensuring the timely delivery of mail. As a Mail Carrier, you will be the face of Royal Mail, delivering essential services to homes and businesses across your assigned route. This role requires excellent physical fitness, a strong commitment to service, and the ability to work independently in various weather conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Sort mail and parcels efficiently for your delivery route.
- Deliver mail and parcels to homes and businesses safely and punctually.

- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Follow established security and safety procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure all mail is delivered.

- A full, valid UK driving licence (essential for some routes).
