Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Gutter Cleaning Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in property maintenance. As an assistant, your primary responsibilities will involve safely positioning and holding ladders, assisting with the removal of debris from gutters, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to safety protocols. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic who are eager to learn and contribute to a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely set up, stabilize, and hold ladders for technicians on various types of residential and commercial properties.
- Assist in the removal of leaves, twigs, dirt, and other debris from gutters and downspouts.
- Perform ground-level support, including organizing tools and equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with other property maintenance tasks as needed.
- Ensure customer property is respected and kept tidy during and after service.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and roofs.
- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of hand tools is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labor, construction, or outdoor work is a plus.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
