Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Hospitality Revenue Management Intern to join our team in Chilliwack. This entry-level internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry to gain hands-on experience in the critical area of revenue management. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will learn to analyze market trends, optimize pricing strategies, and contribute to maximizing hotel revenue. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and a foundational understanding of revenue management principles within a fast-paced hotel environment. No prior direct experience in revenue management is required; we are looking for an eager learner with strong analytical skills and a desire to build a career in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reporting and analysis.
  • Support the Revenue Manager in monitoring market segment performance and competitor pricing.
  • Help analyze booking pace and forecast demand for various room types and segments.
  • Learn to update and manage rate plans and inventory across various distribution channels.
  • Participate in revenue strategy meetings and contribute to discussions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of revenue management systems.
  • Support the sales and marketing teams with data-driven insights.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or willingness to learn rapidly).

  • Previous experience with data analysis tools or hospitality software (e.g., PMS, CRS) is a plus, but not required.
