Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and thorough Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our guest rooms and common areas at our Wolverhampton location. This role is crucial to ensuring our guests enjoy a pristine and comfortable environment throughout their stay. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere, we encourage you to apply! Full training will be provided, so previous experience is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms according to Premier Inn's high standards.
  • Change linens and make beds neatly.
  • Replenish guest room supplies (e.g., toiletries, towels, coffee).
  • Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sanitizing fixtures and floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and clean windows.
  • Empty wastebins and dispose of refuse properly.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage, or missing items promptly to supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness of corridors, stairwells, and other public areas as assigned.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Handle lost and found items according to procedure.

  • Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably within a hotel environment.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Customer service orientation, with a friendly and approachable manner.
