Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Banker / Associate to join our dynamic team in Pasadena, CA. This pivotal role involves supporting senior bankers in executing a wide range of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in finance, exceptional quantitative skills, and a keen interest in global markets. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for valuation and transaction analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth industry and company research, preparing detailed reports and presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch books, confidential information memoranda, and other transaction-related documents.
  • Support due diligence processes, collaborating with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors.
  • Participate in client meetings and calls, contributing to strategic discussions.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insightful analysis to senior team members.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or CFA designation.
  • Prior experience with M&A transactions or capital markets.
  • Proficiency with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv Eikon).
  • Experience with cross-border transactions or international finance.
