Job Description
Are you ready for an immersive outback experience? AAco is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Jackaroo / Jillaroo Trainees to join our station teams. This unique opportunity offers full training, food, and board as you learn the ropes of large-scale cattle station operations. No prior experience is required; we are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for rural life. This role is perfect for those seeking an adventurous career start in the Australian agricultural industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mustering and handling cattle under supervision.
- Participate in fencing repairs and construction.
- Learn to operate and maintain various station machinery and vehicles.
- Support general station maintenance tasks including repairs to water infrastructure and yards.
- Assist with animal health treatments and welfare checks.
- Contribute to a safe and productive team environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Undertake general cleaning and maintenance of communal areas and equipment.
