Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart your career in a fast-paced and essential industry? Amazon Logistics is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Logistics Assistant (Trainee). This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, full training to ensure you gain all the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of operations within our busy Croydon facility, learning the ropes of warehousing, inventory management, and dispatch processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receiving, inspecting, and storing of incoming inventory.
- Help with the preparation and dispatch of outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy.
- Learn and apply best practices for inventory organisation and stock control.
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Participate in training sessions to develop a deep understanding of logistics operations.
- Utilise basic computer systems for data entry and tracking tasks.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures diligently.
