Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Seasonal Maple Syrup Bottling Laborer to join our team in Wrexham. This role is crucial to our seasonal production cycle, focusing on the efficient and hygienic bottling of our premium maple syrup products. You will work in a fast-paced, warm production environment, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bottling and capping machinery under supervision.
- Perform quality checks on bottles, labels, and caps to ensure product integrity.
- Package finished maple syrup bottles into cartons and prepare for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to a supervisor immediately.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a warm, fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg regularly.
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production setting (not essential, but a plus).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
