Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start opportunity in a dynamic and supportive environment? Déménagement Rive-Nord Inc. is hiring Mover / General Labourers in Trois-Rivières! This is a fantastic entry-level position – absolutely no experience is required, making it ideal for students, recent graduates, or anyone looking to kickstart a career in logistics and physical labour. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move furniture, boxes, and other items
- Properly pack and protect items to prevent damage during transit
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of furniture as needed
- Operate moving equipment and tools safely (e.g., dollies, hand trucks)
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and moving vehicle
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive and respectful attitude
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good physical stamina and dexterity
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license (Class 5)
- Prior experience in customer service or a physically demanding role (even if not moving specific)
