Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start in a dynamic, team-oriented environment? Atlas Van Lines is seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our moving crew as Mover / General Labourers. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success! This role is perfect for students or anyone seeking a physically active job with an immediate start and the opportunity to learn valuable skills. You’ll be a vital part of our team, helping customers transition smoothly into their new homes or offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off moving trucks.
- Carefully pack, wrap, and protect items to prevent damage during transit.
- Disassemble and reassemble basic furniture as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete jobs efficiently.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
- Punctuality and dependability.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing studies).

- Previous experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., construction, warehouse, landscaping) is a bonus but not required.
