Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Paid Bio Intern to join our Research & Clinical Focus team in Bristol. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior researchers and clinical staff with data collection, entry, and initial analysis.
  • Support laboratory operations, including preparing reagents, maintaining equipment, and organizing samples.
  • Conduct literature reviews and gather background information for ongoing studies.
  • Help prepare documentation and reports for research protocols and clinical trials.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Learn and apply new scientific techniques and methodologies under supervision.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
  • Fundamental understanding of biological principles and laboratory practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior academic project experience involving laboratory work.
  • Familiarity with scientific literature databases (e.g., PubMed).
