Job Description
We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Milk Run Offsiders for casual early morning shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible work hours, enjoys physical activity, and doesn’t mind an early start. As a Milk Run Offsider, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their fresh dairy products promptly and efficiently. Full training will be provided, making this a perfect entry-level role for those looking to gain experience in logistics and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with the safe and efficient delivery of milk and dairy products to various customer locations.
- Accurately load and unload milk crates and other dairy items from the delivery vehicle.
- Verify order quantities and ensure correct products are delivered to each customer.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle and storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies during deliveries.
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers during delivery interactions.
- Assist with route planning and navigation as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently lift and carry milk crates (up to 15-20kg) and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- High level of reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills and a friendly disposition.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical role or logistics environment (though not essential, as full training is provided).
- Knowledge of the Albury-Wodonga region and surrounding areas.
- Current driver's license (advantageous but not required for an offsider role).
